Regular:We display year-round at galleries across the country. A few of our wallpieces are available for sale online at AmericaCreates.com and on ArtfulHome.com. Since 2008, we have also the honor to display our wallpieces at Riva Cucina, one of Berkeley's finest new restaurants, right in our neighborhood. Most years we display at the American Craft Council's wholesale and retail shows in Baltimore in February, and San Francisco in August. ACC's competitive juried craft shows are among the finest in the United States. The Baltimore show is generally considered the best, and is also the largest. The Pacific States show in San Francisco - the most pleasant of the ACC shows - happens to be in our neighborhood. Current & Upcoming:13-15 August, 2010 we will be exhibiting at the American Craft Council's American Craft Show in San Francisco. Come see us booth 603, in Fort Mason's Festival Pavilion. 3-6 September, 2010 we will be exhibiting our wallpieces and sculpture at the Sausalito Art Festival. Selected Saturdays this Summer we will be showing mostly our smaller work - jewelry and smaller vases - at the Saturday Grand Lake Farmer's Market in Oakland. Past:(far from a complete list) 20 March, 2010, 11am-5pm, we held a special one-day wallpiece show at North Bay Gallery in conjunction with the Mustard Festival's citywide event, A Taste of Yountville. Click here to see the wallpieces displayed there. 12-15 February, 2010, we displayed in booth 1816 of the mixed media section of the Buyers Market of American Craft. We attended primarily to highlight our new foldformed jewelry. 17 August - 27 September, 2009 Show of Hands in Philadelphia hosted an exhibition of our wallpieces. Click here for the wallpieces currently on display at Show of Hands. 14-16 August, 2009 we exhibited in Booth 614 at the American Craft Council's American Craft Show in San Francisco 2009. This year our display was primarily made up of David's repoussé faces in different forms and contexts. Click here to see the wallpieces exhibited at the show. Spring-Summer 2009 Earthenworks Gallery in La Conner and Port Townsend, Washington, showed a group of our wallpieces as they have many summers before. June-July 2009 we have the honor to have a wallpiece on display at the Berkeley Art Center opposite Berkeley's Live Oak Park. June 13-14, 2009 we displayed at the Live Oak Park Fair in Berkeley. Click here to see the wallpieces we exhibited at the fair. 16-24 May 2009 Dayle Dunn Gallery in Half Moon Bay, California, held a garden show in the tradition of her yearly galas, including a selection of our wallpieces and Reed's new Lens Vases. We were happy to attend on separate days and meet some of her customers. 9 May, 2009, we showed at the Feria Urbana, at Pizzaiolo restaurant, in Oakland, California's Temescal district. March 2009: We welcome three new wallpiece galleries to our family: We have also begun offering a few of our wallpieces for sale online at AmericaCreates.com. America Creates is working to build the premier internet portal for fine craft in the United States. We have also added a few wallpieces to our offerings on ArtfulHome.com. 13-16 February, 2009, we displayed in booth 1817 of the mixed media section of the Buyers Market of American Craft. It is the first time we have shown there in more than a decade. We revisited the show to highlight the return of our earrings to production, and to find new and old shops for them. Labor Day weekend, 30 August–1 September, 2008 we exhibited for the second time in Booth 609 at the Sausalito Art Festival. Labor Day Weekend, 31 August–3 September, 2007 we showed for the first time in Booth 319 at the acclaimed Sausalito Art Festival, across the Bay in Marin County. We were pleasantly surprised to discover the prominence of our pieces included in Toni Sikes' new book, The Artful Home: Using Art & Craft to Create Living Spaces You'll Love (Lark Books, 2007: ISBN 1-60059-171-6), now in bookstores. A photograph of pair of our round vases is featured on the inside front flap of the dust jacket, and again on page 135, heading the section "Collecting Artful Objects". These are the same two vases which have been offered for sale through Toni Sikes' site, Guild.com, and in the Guild's Artful Home catalogs for the past year. 10-12 August, 2007 we showed once again in Booth 118 at the American Craft Council's American Craft Show in San Francisco, in the piers at Fort Mason Center. Click here to see the wallpieces displayed at the show. 9 & 10 June, 2007 we returned to our roots at one of our small local craft fairs, the Live Oak Park Fair in Berkeley, to provide a place for the debut of our new modular wallpieces. 20-25 February, 2007 we showed in Booth 2101 at the American Craft Council's Baltimore Winter Market. To be informed of future open studios and shows, contact us and ask to be on our mailing list. 10-12 November, 2006 Katie Gingrass Gallery displayed a selection of our work at SOFA Chicago 2006. August 11-13, 2006 we displayed in booth 412 at the American Craft Council's San Francisco Fine Craft Show at Fort Mason. 28-30 April, 2006 we exhibited in booth 408 at the Philadelphia Furniture & Furnishings Show at Philadelphia's Pennsylvania Convention Center. 11 & 12 March 2006, we exhibited in booth 503 at the Contemporary Crafts Market at Fort Mason's Festival Pavilion in San Francisco. This was our first year at this show. Art Concepts in Walnut Creek, California, has displayed our wallpieces since 1998. In October 2005 they celebrated their 20th Anniversary, with a show featuring over sixty artists. From 19 September to 25 October, 2003, Seebeck Gallery, in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, hosted a two-artist show, Recent Works by David Bowman and Jeff Shawhan. Our summer shows with Earthenworks began in 1994 and have been repeated many summers since then. Our first major wallpiece show was in 1993 at Edenside Gallery in Louisville, Kentucky. Note: Although we have limited display space, and generally have few pieces on hand at any given time, you are welcome to contact us to arrange to visit the studio if you are in Berkeley. |
